Decided this week that he was gonna start submitting galleries... no experience what so ever. I got him set up with a soulcash account and he just made his first sale! A newb doing 1:36 on TGP traffic!!

Your friend got lucky and had his first sale after 36 clicks. He is NOT doing 1:36 on TGP traffic with Soul Cash, Skin Traffic, Top Bucks, or any other sponsor thrown his way.

Don't get his hopes up like that or he'll quit when he sees what conversions are really like.

You should hook him up with PDVD as well for more killer converstions. It always helps to push more than one. Send him to my sig. heh. ;)

I know several people who have. It happens. It's just a fluke. He got lucky and hit the right surfer. He isn't some TGP gallery messiah. Tell him to keep on pushing but damn man... it happens!

Nope, he did this all on his own. I have never touched tgp's my self, but am looking to get into it this year. I've done things to help him out like give him free space on my server and some feedback on his galleries, but that's it.

I do agree that you shouldn't let him get his hopes up too quickly. That was impressive, but realistically keeping up a 1:36 conversion is pretty unlikely! Make sure he is prepared for that!

Hey guys. I'm the famous guy that made the sale tonight, :) If you notice my post count it is 1 , lol. This is my first post as a GFY member but have came here occasionally to read posts. Mostly because of smutgiant forwarding me all his posts about his girl problems. I must give props to smutgiant though for helping me getting started and hosted. :thumbsup

The reality is that I'm not a complete newbie and have tried gallery submitting a few years back but didn't quite work out. I know what the industry is like and know how difficult it can be. Trust me guys, I know this was a fluke sale but hopefully this sale has boosted my confidence.
