Were going to WAR again ....
http://www.wavy.com/Global/story.asp?S=1902088
The official cover story is that it is a "readiness exercise". A two month long readiness exercise. With 7 carrier groups. And nobody is to know where they are going. In September 2001, the US and UK "coincidentally ran what were then the largest wargames ever planned, Operations Bright Star and Swift Sword 2. At the same time, again "coincidentally", two US carrier groups arrived on station in the Gulf of Arabia. The resources needed to "respond" to the "surprise attack" just happened to be in place when needed, in operations planned months in advance. So now 7 carrier groups, half the entire US carrier fleet, are headed out to sea, destination unknown. So who are we going after this time? Discuss ... |
north korea maybe? just moving resources to that side of the world..

It's Canada... they just don't realize that they don't have to send ships out to sea to get there.

I don't know anything about it but it could be a defensive move. Keep the ships moving so they aren't sitting targets like pearl harbor. Again, I have no idea, just a guess. |
Kind of stupid to fight 2 wars at once when you don't have to. :2 cents:
|
Mexico - they would't let us in when the big storms hit in the movie the Day After Tomrrow :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

Maybe getting them out of harms way???? Or sending a message to someone? |

Ships in port do nobody any good except for local bar owners. You don't maintain readiness by sitting in port... |
What's left in the states to defend the home land?
|
Stay the fuck outta Canada

9 Carrier Groups??? That's about 800 planes. Wow.
Something has to be up. Only thing I can think of would be Iran or NK or maybe Syria. Might also be Bush greenlighted Sharon to take out Iran's nukes and the Israeli's asked for backup. If it was NK it probably would be the Pacific Fleet carrier groups. Hmmmm. This should be interesting. |
