Good for her -- she taught you two lessons: 1) water your own plants before they get dried out and your gf "helps" by doing it for you, 2) plants do not belong on top of stereo components.

Not if it was the ONLY stupid thing they did or one of the few . . . but yeah, I think that would make me rethink his/her intelligence and I wouldn't want to be in a long term relationship with someone who is stupid. Apparently this girl has other qualities that compensate for her lack of common sense though.

Yeah I agree plants are nice. But just like you probably have a rack for the electronics, use a seperate rack for the plants. Good electronics arent cheap.
