I think so, but there will usually always be one of them attracted to the other. So it becomes a bit more complicated. That's why most women want to have a good gay male friend, that way we never have to worry!

That has been my problem in the past as well. A good way to think about it though is have many beautiful women friends and don't hook up with anyone, because you might find another great female later, and if not, you'll have a selection of great women who know what kind of a guy you are; which is hopefully respectful, polite, etc.. :)
