Spam unsubscribing (Sexually-Explicit)

Does unsubscribing form sexually-explicit e-mails works ?

I get more and more Can-Spam compliant e-mails, so I started unsubscribing to them, I wonder if in a week or 2 I will get less spam ...

Anyone doing the same thing since it started and is getting less spam ?

No, you're just letting them know that you email addy is valid. :(

YAp, simply delete the eMail and hope that you don't get more...if that doesn't work create a filter...

I find personally that requesting to be removed from their list is the worst thing you can do. It lets them know your email is valid and that you actually go through and read the email (at least enough to find out how to unsubscribe) and you end up being sold to a gazillion other lists and you end up with even more. I don't get bothered by spam, i just hit delete.

Try to use anti-spam program , if it doesnt work , do this :

write the letter to sponsor and tell him that next letter will go to billing company...

it works , man :thumbsup

clicking on unsubscribe just adds you to a brand new list for sale... and you end up getting tons more..

use filters

at least the sexually explicit makes it easier to filter :)

I use a filter already, but bayesian filters use a shitload of cpu as the spam database gets bigger.

I use a RBL on my mail servers and a filter on my workstation e-reader. add them to the filter. Clicking anything on the page or even allowing the images in the email to load ( fire wall won't let my email program access anything but 21.25 and 110 ) will tell them you looked at it. check the image properties on your next spam...

it's useless, really. i suggest you open another email instead.

Just bounce the e-mails back and you'll eventually be removed from all the lists that have a valid reply-to address.
