is going from 1:500 to 1:10000 normal
I used to convert from 1:500-1:600 with this particular site about a month ago. This week its at 1:10000. And its the exact same traffic. This is all tracked by c c bill

Interesting thought just came to me.
You got 1 signup after 500 hits, and now you are up to 10,000 hits and haven't gotten your second one? If this is the case, that is quite normal for crap traffic. So, what is your traffic source? TGP, blind, exits? |

im typically around 1:800'ish, but I've had some 1:5000 weeks too. It's just the way it is |

I find sometimes TGP traffic does awsome, other times it's terrible... really hit and miss.

I'd be a little concerned with a change that drastic.. maybe they changed their tour or something?
|
nahhh......summer slow down :1orglaugh
|
I agree.. the summer slow down has been hard this year. Use this time to pursue mainstream ventures..

"Summer Slow Down" is an excuse shaving sponsors use. Fuck that. |

I am amazed noone mentions this.
If you use TGP or MGP as a traffic source the key is to change sponsors all the time. See when a site is new or underpromoted you will convert way better then when tons of webmasters are pushing it. I see that with all my sites, first 30 days they are live conversions are amazing from even shitty traffic then once many start to push it its only common sense conversions drop. This might also answer the question to many on why some people build sites and dont allow affiliates. Enjoy your weekend. |
Sales go up and down, that's normal. Maybe your sponsors turned your shaving up. CCBill doesn't mean your sponsor can't shave with his management console. Tons of ways to shave even with CCBIL so this is not a slam on them or iBill or Epoch.
So have lots of different sponsors to spread risk. Oh, there is that secret society of sponsors. Sure, they get together and adjust shaving at the same time, so you think it?s your site or that summer slow down. Have you checked your site, trading partner?s etc. for problems? |
not good.. :(

btw, my ccbill stats sucks all the time, with epoch or ibill I make sales LOL (same traffic) |
