How old is old?

How old does a model have to look (not BE) to be considered "mature"?

Zprogramz 05-28-2004 11:28 PM

Over 50 is mature IMO

SpaceAce 05-28-2004 11:28 PM

Someone here just shot a 20-something as a MILF and it looked pretty good.

Edit: My bad, she should LOOK at least mid-30's in my opinion.

No, I don't mean MILF. I, for example, have never had children, and I may slip into the "Mature" category before I do.

MILF is slightly different.

Mid thirties seems to hit mature.

maxdaname 05-28-2004 11:32 PM

40+

stev0 05-28-2004 11:32 PM

The middle category seems to be missing alot... people either say teen or milf. When a 25 year old isn't really either..

SmutGiant 05-28-2004 11:34 PM

I would say 40+

SleazyDream 05-28-2004 11:34 PM

age is what you feel inside

pure energy 05-28-2004 11:36 PM

It really depends. There are some women over 50 that still look good, such as Raquel Welch.

Trixie 05-28-2004 11:39 PM

As far as porn goes, I think of women in their thirties and forties as "mature". Women who qualify as "women", rather than girls. I'm only 31 but feel pretty comfortable marketing myself as "mature" though I think 35 or 40 is probably a more agreeable starting point for most people.

Case sensitive.

Old is a bad attitude that comes with age, some have it, others dont IMO.

I am referring strictly to the appearance of a model in this case. As in which category she would fall into in a TGP, for example. I don't think attitude really enters into it.

laura99 05-28-2004 11:41 PM

If they aren't teen looking then I use them as mature content. If you want to get technical any of the models could be milfs if they have kids ;) If they are 45 or 50+ then they are grannie content :)

I have to agree with ya there. But I don't wanna be mature! Wah!

Only a few years and a month left of youth, I spose.. *le sigh*

very true. would really depend on the person. ive seen women in their early 20s look mature ( not old) and seen women in their 40s that still have a young cute persona about them and seem to be lots younger.

Open mouth, enter foot. I failed to read your initial comment, I saw the subject line, and the poll. Im sorry.

Eh, I think of them as being the same thing, older sexy women. I never stopped to consider if it mattered that she had had children. If your surfers just want mature as in "pretty old and not necessarily hot", I think late 40s.

Now that is funny! True, though :)

baddog 05-28-2004 11:52 PM

I know shemp will disagree, but 40+ before she is mature in my book . . . . maybe late 30's

KRL 05-28-2004 11:57 PM

I'd say 40 is mature. But I've seen some girls in their 30's that look like they're in their 40's and vice versa seen some girls even in their lates 40's who could pass for early 30's.

I think it depends how weathered the lady looks. I grew up next to a milf and shes still sexy shes 62 and looks to be in her mid 40's:2 cents:

I hear you, even though I love that I'm 30something and will be for almost another decade.

There really should be a better way of labeling a "look" that's not girlish, but is just classic WOMAN. The cool part about being in our late twenties and thirties is I think we sort of defy age and epitomize "woman". The bad part is there's no niche to really capture and capitalize on that quality. Milf doesn't cut it for an indie girl with a personality site. The category of "Milf" is usually just a stupid worn-out way of giving personality to generic anonymous non-teen models.

Jace 05-29-2004 12:18 AM

depends on how old you look

my wife is 28 and looks 20, and I am sure that will go on for a while....so when she is 45 she could possibly look 30 or so.....

under 25... then you have the gray area till about 35, and then its Milf, and Gilf

pimplink 05-29-2004 01:49 AM

It depends upon the person really! Some women age beautifully!

Victor-E 05-29-2004 01:57 AM

I alway remember what WHO said: "Hope I die before I get old". And I'll belive that 'til the day I die.

EviLGuY 05-29-2004 01:58 AM

Mid 30s sounds about right.

You hit the nail on the head there, Trix! That's exactly my problem! I'm not mature in the granny sense, but I'm definitely not a teen or a coed. So now what? There's gotta be something, right?

Goose 05-29-2004 11:32 AM

I'd say 40+ too...this is the typical parents age ;)

Manowar 05-29-2004 11:38 AM

23-35 I would stick in the amateur category...older than that, mature, milf, whatever.

the Shemp 05-29-2004 11:50 AM

mature starts at 30
:thumbsup

C_U_Next_Tuesday 05-29-2004 11:52 AM

why put yourself in any category...just be yourself.. young or old. :thumbsup

Babe!

Rictor 05-29-2004 11:56 AM

I've but 20 year olds in the mature category before because they looked old and 30 year olds in the teen category. I'm really surprised when I look at photo ID and find out this chick that looks 18 is 30 and another chick that looks 30 is only 18.

bufferover 05-29-2004 12:04 PM

MILF is something between 25-33, Mature is over 40

PrivateIvy 05-29-2004 12:10 PM

Hey Elli:)

I have a model in my network that is 38 and I've had great success promoting her in the "mature" niche..... http://www.kaseykline.com
if that gives you any idea....

You've got MANY years before you hit that niche girl!!!

Wow, she has a TIGHT body for being 38! If I'll look that good in ten years, then I have nothing to worry about! :)

iFliPcEss 05-29-2004 12:26 PM

mid 20's

PattyeCake* 05-29-2004 01:19 PM

Damn.... looks like I hit MATURE in just about every reply...
not sure if that is a good thing... or a bad thing....

Lykos 05-29-2004 01:40 PM

45-60
Over 60 is granny...:winkwink:

benc 05-29-2004 01:43 PM

About 28 or so. Women go from cute to old in a really quick transistion.

But if its a girl that hasnt drank, smoked, drugged, etc, alot, then they will look hotter longer.

NakedBo 05-29-2004 03:00 PM

35+ is mature for me. Depends on how the lady looks though. I have seen 25 year old that looked like 40 year olds, and vice versa.

Agree! It is hard to link it to an "age" but I understand why you are asking.

For some reason, whenever I heard "mature" I thought OLD LADY (like 50 to 100) then I started reading this thread. A lot of people think of "mature" as something other than OLD LADY. I went to google and put in mature and most of the links that came up included the word "GRANNY" so some people are making "mature" into white haired, cane using, denture wearing, arthritis suffering, granny stuff.
