jsut got back from it too, i did not think it was too bad...the kids enjoyed it

Oh My God! What a disaster (no pun intended).

That's the second time in my life that I wanted to leave in the middle of a movie. I had extremely low expectations but this is ridiculous.

We all know that "disaster movies" always have a lame script and very bad characters. It's quite possibly the single stupidest film ever directed by Roland Emmerich. And I thought Godzilla was bad.

Imagine "10.5" but on a big movie screen.

Along the way, the characters utter some of the clumsiest dialogue in ages. Rarely have I heard an audience laugh so often in the wrong places.

At least in ID4 there was some action left after they attacked. We still didn't care about the characters, but now in "The Day after tomorrow" there's nothing left to see after 45 mins.

Anyway, when you don't care if the actors live or die, there is something really, really wrong with the script.

Please, Rolland Emerich. You're not a writer, I'm sorry to say this. But you suck. A lame script for a disaster movie is not an excuse.

Yeah yeah.. This is a popcorn movie. It's always fun to see destruction scenes, people screaming... Bla Bla Bla... It's exacly what I was expecting, nothing else. A popcorn movie with special effects. But I think that even "popcorn movies" need to give the audience something in return.

I really felt angry when I left the movie theater.

The tagline is : Where will you be?

I should have been 10000 miles from that screen. That's the answer.

I want my two hours back.

I know..that's why I went even after I read the reviews..but you'll see..it's very weak and the acting is like cardboard..This moving is a Sunday afternoon rental
