You know, I'd love to meet some local (Oregon) adult biz people... you guys should hang out someplace cheap sometime so I can go, too. =D

Portland people rarely get together. Most of them are pretty anti-social. That's why I drive up to Seattle a lot.......Those people are not afraid to communicate with each other.

I'm super anti-social, too, but I would like to meet some other adult business people in person (I think I have a lot to learn and it would be fun to talk to live people about it for a change). The chances of me being able to afford travelling to one of the major conventions is slim, so I thought I'd start locally.

Besides... sometimes anti-social people can really hit it off when they hang out with other anti-social people. =P

I haven't been feeling too well lately, though, and my bank account is feeling worse, so I'm just not sure if I'd be up to the kinds of outings that people normally arrange...

Back in 2001 we tried doing a weekly PDX webmaster gathering. The turn out was OK but nothing every really got accomplished. People seemed afraid to talk about what they were doing or something.

SexToyKing Todd lives less than 15 minutes from me yet we have never met. Talked about getting together a few times but then nothing ever happens.

As far as I know....Only 3 people from that group are still active in the biz and I'm not sure how active 2 of them really are these days.

This is yet another reason that I hate Portland. Personally, I like to hang out with people who have similar interests and goals as myself and I find that non-porn people are a bit too judgemental.

What part of town are you in?
