Umm...since you work for the company I'd say you get paid for that even if it's indirectly.

The more webmasters that use Silvercash, the more your program gets paid. Its still all about money and getting the name out there. Just because theres no set dollar value doesnt mean you dont get paid.

I get paid for the work I do for the company here in the office, so my salary isn't associated with my posts in any way.

My issue is that there has never been as many useless smilie posts that have nothing to do with the thread as when ARS started paying per CPM/post. It has spawned enough annoying sigwhores that infest this board that it reflects very badly on anyone else sporting the ARS sig by default. It has nothing to do with people making an extra buck which is great, but if you are caught up in the negative perception a lot of people have because of the sig your sporting, than it doesn't matter how serious a poster you are; you will be ignored because of the awful way ARS is paying for their sigs that breeds smilie posters...

Basically, serious poster + ARS sig = clusterfuck
