So I am an idiot, help me dammit!
Ok, I have programs to convert movies to different formats, I have programs to cut them into smaller clips............ ok I got that. NOW........
How in the HELL do I get a screencap from the damn things to use as a thumbnail for these damn things? Anyone know of a program or easy way to do this? This is driving me mad and takes up so much of my damn time. lol |
I think Tenpgenc or something like that does it. I use Vegas, but that's overboard for what you want to do.

Snag it does work, does batches as well.
Oh you may need to turn off video accelleration in windows player to have adobe or whatnot grab them. |
Tam, use Movie Snapshot. It's freeware. You can get it from here:

There's a program called VideoMatch. You can use it for free. It allows you to take screen caps from video.
Just open the video in the program, select the frame you would like to capture and file hahahaha>save input preview picture. You can download it here: http://www.gromada.com/ Hope it helps! kisses, Milena |
I have them in every format you can imagine....... wmv, divx or whatever, mpeg and everything else. Thanks to PaulMarkham, I can let anyone that even HAS a movie player see these bad boys...... LMAO
I want to use the wmvs on galleries and such and the better ones in the members areas of my sites. I like to give them options because I know not everyone has the same players. BUT to date, I have yet to have an easy way of pulling screenshots off them............ I DO it, but it's such a pain in my ass. I WAS opening them in animation shop and getting them that way, but still a pain in the ass to do.... LOL |
Try VirtualDub, it makes screencaps.
