Someone got $18,000 I can borrow? I wanna play some flight sim and then return em. Don't worry, I'll pay the restocking fees.

KRL 05-28-2004 01:13 AM

That is sooooooooooooo HOT! Got more pics of her?

I'd hit it twice and come back for thirds!

wannabeapornstar 05-28-2004 01:14 AM

There's nothing special about that computer. Its a regular p4 3.2 extreme series CPU accellerated to 3.8, bus and ram is also overclocked.

I like that 92" monitor tho :thumbsup

Best one they have for sale right now is $8499.99 (of course thats not with the monitor hehe)

I just figure as much time as I spend on the cpu (and how often I find myself waiting on shit to load/run) Might as well buy one that will last 10years, and I can run every anti-virus/spamblocking/firewall having/hellish adware remover/ zone alarm in the world running, and my cpu usage would be at like .004% in use lol :)

As far as penis size goes worry bout yourself buddy Im all good in that department hehe

VeriSexy 05-28-2004 01:16 AM

For that much money I could setup a cluster and hook it up to a large LCD. I rather go for power than looks :thumbsup

wannabeapornstar 05-28-2004 01:17 AM

it will never last 10 years. It will turn in to a slow shitty puter in 3-4 years

Not sure if any other cpus have this PuRam or not but I dont think they do:

Quote:

PuRam? - The future, today.
Introducing the first desktop computer configurable WITHOUT a system hard drive. The Operating system and system files reside on a PuRam? solid state flash disk with near zero latency and seek times, and burst transfer rates up to 8.5GB/s I/O, capable of over 150,000 I/O requests per second, all with an average of 0.0% CPU utilization. This translates into an effective desktop business productivity of up to 100 times faster than the fastest available hard disk design at any price or configuration. These are non-volatile units just like a regular hard drive with a permanent storage cycle. There are no more virtual memory or swap file delays (since now they are as fast as RAM) and there are no more System Disk Defrags (memory is random so it does not need defragging). Windows boots-up in seconds, load your games and apps in seconds, and start any program virtually instantly. Also moving, copying, or working on large files has literally no slow-down affect in the blistering fast computing speed. Furthermore, PuRam? Drives are extremely resistant to shock, vibration and temperature variations, while providing unprecedented performance and superior durability. Allied to our CacheFlow? technology, the PuRam? Drives give your audio, video, CAD, graphic, gaming, industrial or scientific applications the most, compelling and unmatched data through output speeds. Absolutely like no other. Click for full view...

If thats not special I dont know what is :)

What for? Some extreme porn viewing and GFY posting?

Seems like a waste of money to me.

Are you talkin about like a flat screen tv or something? (agian im not to technicall with this stuff)

Only thing about hooking cpu output to tv's is (1) Tvs resolution sucks (usually 800x600 or maybe a couple steps up) and (2) if its a plasma (i think) the image from your desktop (anything that stays longer then a regular video) will be burned into the screen forever ;\

I thought about that but was advised agianst it, thought a big ass plasma for a monitor would kick ass :)

Just an overkill ya know :) same as a lambo or something like that hehe, I just figured I spend a GOOD ammount of my time on my damn dell 733Mhz hehe so its time for an upgrade :).

Really was looking for others opinions on other GOOD cpus though, there was this one I saw that was so small looked like a palm pilot almost and you would just bring it from home to the office and plug in keyboard/mouse/monitor and get to work, then bring it with you wherever...

anyone know what that is called?

AC

wannabeapornstar 05-28-2004 01:22 AM

come on man... they dont make their own cpus. They are using a reular intel p4 cpu 3.2extreme. It is overclocked(can be easily done in bios) and they wrote a little windows utility that shows how "cool" it is.

Does the intel have that puRam stuff?

wannabeapornstar 05-28-2004 01:34 AM

just go to your local computer store and ask them to build a good system for you.
Ask them for the following configuration:
Intel P4 3.2 extreme(3.4extreme is out, i;m sure they'll use it in in mach4.0 :winkwink: ) (800MHZ bus) CPU
Asus or intel motherboard on either 865 or 875 intel chipset.
Get 2 sticks of ddr400 ram(this way the dual channel mode will be activated and your puter will run faster)
S-ATA Hard drive (any size you want)
ATI Radeon 9800 video card

and thats fucking it.
This system will be as fast as that 8k system and you'll only spend like 1500-2500$ on it:2 cents:

Goose 05-28-2004 01:34 AM

wtf... I need one of those. Looks like the one they use in password swordfish!

I'm not sure what this puRam thing is, but most likely it's some software optimization proggy. I bet it doesnt make any real difference in performance.

From what I gather its a new form of a harddrive that isnt a harddrive at all... say you drag a 1gig folder from sone thing onto your desktop, with this new shit it should move instantly

Check this out:

Sounds pretty slick kinda revolutionary... the tech stuff would probebly mean more to you then me as I dont know what half that shit says :)

Ash@phpFX 05-28-2004 01:43 AM

they are certainly extreme, i lik the idea of a ram hard drive, super fast

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 05-28-2004 01:49 AM

With the 3 Panel display 3GHz comes to $6,749.98.

Humm...
Maybe a machine that can keep up would be worth it.

wannabeapornstar 05-28-2004 01:49 AM

i'll try to get some information on that. however, it sounds to me like a marketing trick. I'm sure puram doesnt have to do anything with hardware. As i said before, it sounds like it's an utility that optimizes shit, most likely creates a virtual drive in ram.

I'm a Mac addict, so it'd be the top of the range G5 with dual 23" Cinema's if I was spending that kind of cash.

3840x1080 desktop res would be kinda nice (each 23" is capable of native HD 1080p). Although I'm sure the box above is probably equally capable

I like macs cause they are just machines, not really made for fun, just total work monsters :), its not that easy to catch adware, or lose yourself in extra little programs that come with the os (like windows)

macs are cool, just not practical for me ;\

haha.. you got to be kidding me.

you think this is as good as it gets?
this system is complete shit when it comes to the power of some of the real systems.. and 18k is just about enough to cover the extras.

you want bad ass?

why get one cpu to do the work when you can have a farm.

Even the SGI workstations would blow this 'dream machine' of yours out of the water..

SGI is producing some of hte fastest super computers on the planet.. I imagine there tezro workstation will outperform some super computer clusters these days..

It's a flash drive. They have been building these things for years now. Just now they have become somewhat affordable.

Pornwolf 06-03-2004 08:32 PM

Go-L is as fake as a thousand dollar bill. I'm surprised everyone doesn't know that already. Try to order something and you will see.

Fabuleux 06-03-2004 08:38 PM

Buy yourself the new Socket 939-platform AMD Athlon 64 3800+ with 1 Gig of RAM in some fancy case with a ATI X800 videocard and 2 huge TFT panels and you will have a faster system than the Liebermann for half the price.

Oh, and by the way, the Liebermann PuRam disk is only 1GB, it doesn't replace the whole harddisk.
