ePassporte; Does anyone know if it's possible to...
... at all to withdraw money from ones account to another bankaccount?
Both my bank and I are located in Sweden, Europe. Hopefully someone with ePassporte can answer this :) |
No its not possible.
And getting your withdrawl limit raised past $300 is next to impossible. If you get more than $300 a day put in there good luck getting it out ;) |
thats kinda shitty

You could ask your bank to charge the money off of it into your account. They will ask for a fee and so possibly will epassporte. You must do it in 1000 dollar or less increments.
|
Ouch.. Yeah, that's definitely shitty.. :(
There's got to be some way though, I'm asking cuz I haven't actually got mine set up yet.. lol So I haven't personally seen the cold hard truth yet :) I'm just kinda worried in advance about this, read things like this here and there and just thought some people wanted to give ePassporte a bad reputation or something. Fuck if I'll have to go to the Caribbean from here, pick up the stash in cash and fly back home with a suitcase of it every month or so.. ;) |
Sheesh... I wish they would get their act together - who's damned money is it?? It is not ePassporte's nor any bank.
Apart from obvious fraud protection ($300 limit) why the fuck can't you do what you like with the money - it's yours! :-) Tell em all to fuck off and behave! :winkwink: |
V_RocKs: hmm.. yeah, that'd be an idea..
But man.. how inconvenient hehe. :helpme |
Webby: word! :glugglug

I'm suprised epassporte have *any* problem issuing money from accounts. If they have - it is not their money - so no "excuses"! :-) I might be getting cynical tho!! :winkwink: |
They say that you can raise your limit btw :)
Just getting it done is a different matter. I dont know anyone who has managed to get their limit raised, and I have tried a few times too. Most times emails just go unanswered or faxes are 'lost'. Epassporte is a great concept, but if you earn decent money I would seriously wait until they figure out a way for you to get your money out in large quantities. |

Well.. greed is maybe most probable among those handling the most money..? I don't know, I think it's just like everywhere else.. but bankers have the potential to be the biggest crooks money-wise and one can easily get a feeling there's something shady about them with things like this - I'll just see how it goes :) |

I hear your advice man... but I'm sure something can be done about it, just don't know what yet lol And I agree totally, the concept is really cool! It makes peoples business totally portable, basically wherever they go :) Too bad they're overly rigorous with their security-system, which seems like a very clumpsy one.. But I guess the cardcompanies are more to blame for that. Visa etc. really have ridiculously sucky antifraud-systems. :Oh crap |

J-A-M, The ability to move money from your Epassporte account is coming soon. Very soon. Unfortunately, at least in the initial release, that functionality will only work for bank accounts in the United States. A solution for foreign banks is somewhat more complicated, but defiantly something we want to offer in the future. http://www.epochsystems.com/images/epass_120x60.gif |

err... definitely, not defiantly. ;-) Just a typo. :1orglaugh http://www.epochsystems.com/images/epass_120x60.gif |

Sausage, You can indeed raise your limit. I looked into this matter and there are many accounts which have raised their transfer and withdrawal limits. I believe the problem with those who have had difficulty is that the request is being made from their personal email address. For authentication and security reasons, account inquires or requests for changes must be made from your ePassporte email address. If you wrote to [email protected] from a non Epassporte address, you should have received a response telling you to log in to the Epassporte site and make your request from your free email account. And keep in mind... that is where you will receive your reply as well. http://www.epochsystems.com/images/epass_120x60.gif |

lol, defiantly :feels-hot :Graucho Thanks Rand for straightening my question out, as well as a couple of other ones. Nice to see you guys keeping the evolution going :thumbsup Personally, as long as I can raise my limit later on, I'm sure I can do without money-transfers for a long time. Shopping & ATM's is all good :glugglug |
Does anyone know who much money I can get from the bank machine a day ?
Is there a general daily limit ? |

Hi herry_31, this thread is pretty much finished :) I just woke up and had it loaded in my browser, the answer to that one is: Most times I think it depends on the bank that's housing the ATM/"bank machine".. Other than that, it's generally the $300 limit we've been discussing here. Have a nice weekend! |
