Which spywares do you think are the worst?

I was wondering which spyware you think is the most wide spread among adult surfers?

Thanks

My thoughts exactly, if it resets ANYTHING in my computer then it is the worst I have seen.

It's gotten so I have to run my spyware thing more than I run anything else in the maintenance of my computer.......... it's gotten WAY out of control!!! :feels-hot

I think the ones that are the worst are the Australian ones.

You remove spyware except Aussie spyware.

Those guys are the worst...no offense Romper Stomper

From what I understand they have changed names 4 times in the last year and have over 100 different variatiions of there "product" .
I do not however know if they are still at the top of the spyware installed lists :)

thanks for all your feedback

It's all bad. Every last one of them.

But the one that really pisses me off the most, and who I'd like to see die a slow, painful death, is Spyhunter. Anything that pretends to help you and just fucks you in the end, is beyond low. Typical wolf in sheep's clothing.

BTW- Just so you know, there's a likely chance that you'll be banned. Especially if a certain someone notices your posts. :1orglaugh

Hello
Why would I be banned?

And do you have evidence of spyhunter really installing spyware when it is meant to be a removal program?

fudpuck 05-27-2004 11:57 PM

Not sure which one is the worst..but all of them I have on my old PC suck ass.

I am a little concerned about why you think I would be banned Holly?

Can you please tell me what you think I am doing wrong?

clickhappy 05-28-2004 12:33 AM

any one of them that links words on the IE page to some sponsor.

So words like sex and vacation will be linked. I hate that because the page takes forever to load up. It's awful to make people sit there and wait 15 seconds everytime they go to a new page, so the spyware can re-write the pages to fit it's ads in.

:1orglaugh This has *got* to be someone's character.

No offense, but if you really do run a spyware board, then maybe you should start doing a little reading and research. Some of the things you're asking questions about should be common knowledge for someone in your position. You really need me to post *proof* about the deal with SpyHunter? Surely you must know about them.

re: the banned thing- spamming other boards is a big no-no here. Most of the posters don't care but the person who owns this site does.

Now tell me who you really are. :1orglaugh

Mefo 05-28-2004 12:43 AM

I've got some sucky fucker here atm, it changes sigs off all people, and I can't get rid of it :feels-hot

Are you talking about words that have the double underline and when you mouseover them, a little pop-up box gives you an ad you can click? Like at majorgeeks and a few other places? If so, that's not spyware, it's some new advertising bullshit. If that's what you mean, I can tell you a quick trick to get rid of them.
