Something about the Sig auction is really pissing me off.
 

I see people posting that there's no money anymore in Sigs. That the gig is up. What the fuck do these people think Sigs are about - it's not a fucking job.

I got good money for my sig and there's still 2 hours left in my auction. So did KRL and Shemp and others - you don't see us whinning about it. We're HAPPY about it - it's an HONOR to have people assign good money to our posts. My sigs up to $1200 and I'm HAPPY - extatic - about the bids I've received. Sure i've made more in the past but I look at it like this - SEVERAL people value my posting here to the tune of over $1000, and LOTS bid hundreds of dollars - that's impressive and to be honest has made my night. :thumbsup

I got very very good money too ... what I said is that there isn't any space for 500 non pornographer board spammer ... not that sigs are dead . real guys are getting good money

The easy money is gone.

Sponsors might be looking at the outlay and return on it and saying no more money for idiots.

I decided not to sell mine. That way I'm no longer obligated to post on GFY. If I want to take a week off, I'm free to, without someone else getting upset about not getting what they paid for.

the sig thing is going to die soon. Only the big players will get the cash. the flock with convert to ars. ars will pull the plug. game over

i sold mine with those terms - i only guarentee one post - not one a day - one post total. anything more than that is a bonus.

It's all good either way, everyone is way to worried about everyone but themselves. If you get money good, if you don't alright. I don't care either way and I've always thought it was an honor to have someone willing to pay for my spot.

But I'm not going to flame, start up bullshit, run my mouth and build up my name just to sell my sig or beg some sponsor to buy it and write an essay as to why I think they should.

i also feel it's an honor - but i live to flame, start bullshit, and run my mouth - but i do it for fun and no other reason. my posting didnt' change before or after i got sig money

no doubt man, i know you stayed the same, but my thing is i'm not changing and being different than who i am, or posting 2000 times a month just to get a little extra change.
