How do you optimize your images for the web?
I have photoshop 7 and I love it but when I export my images from it the file sizes are so large and heavy. Is there a way to reduce file sizes without reducing quality?

also using fireworks to slice images into gif/jpeg sections can save you quite a few k here and there. someone posted a good tutorial on it here a few days back, fucking search function, if it were active I could link ya.

Reduce the optimize jpg/gif thingy, or simply use acdsee to convert images.

create an action in PS and it's a breeze

most of the time Photoshop for a few images, at mass production i also stick to ACD See since it doe the job in a few seconds.
