Cool idea for board owners
 

Say, I got this idea for board owners, even GFY. I didn't check or investigated if it's implemented or exist already.

So...

"If i write a thread, why not make it in-accessable to certain board members" ?

Like in this thread, I could exclude entries from certain members.
Like if I didnt want certain members to write in this thread.

Discuss? Existing board function already?

That would likely eliminate a large portion of drama GFY is famous for. And, it would also likely cause many people to create other nicknames so they can post in the thread if they're otherwise blocked..

i concur. if you don't like the drama don't post or ignore the trolls.

I think part of the fun of a public message board is that everyone's entitled to have their :2 cents: by default. If you arent interested in what people have to say, you can put them on ignore, but the main group will read what each person has to say.

Thread-starter based censorship would probably limit a board quite severely.
