US pay day and SU:s
 

Do you americans have a special day each month when you get your paychecks? In sweden almost everyone gets paid around the 25th each month. Thought US people got checks every week, but signups and rebills are much better in the end of the months. Especially this week so far :) So, when to you get paid?

Alot of various days. At least weekly, often several times a week.

Yet for average person out there, it is ussually every week or every two weeks unless they are on assistance.
SSI people - 1st/3rd
Welfare - end of month, round the 27th or so in CA or it appears as they are all out shopping.

I think that depends on the program. But it would make sense to make the payout each sunday. (If it's done weekly)

So that's why there are so many SU:s in the end of the months :winkwink:
