The 'search' option...
 

Yeah im sure this has been posted a million times, but obviously cant find those threads because, well, the search option doesnt work.

My question, why is it disabled in the first place?

When will it come back?

A board this popular is just a pain in the fucking ass without the search option.

I think i'll be on the other boards until this is fixed.

Yes, the Search feature is greatly missed. Please enable it again!

I assume the problem is how much CPU resources are used when theres so many people searching this main forum, which is hundreds of pages long.

So heres an idea....

Move threads that havent been replied to for 3 months or more into an "Archives" forum.

This would mean when people search the "Fucking Around & Program Discussion" forum, the CPU would have way less data to sort through.

When people wanted to specifically search for an old topic, they'd goto the 'Archives' section.

Unless im mistaken, this should solve the problem. :2 cents:
