i think they were just looking for something to charge him with. since they couldn't just charge him with 'spamming' they charged him with identity theft. sounds like bullshit. maybe he stole AOL accounts or something. either way it seems like bullshit. i can't believe ppl are willing to lock up ppl just because they send emails they don't want. now if they were doing those ebay/paypal scams, sure.
