Hard drive crash
 

Do you know of anything to do about a hard drive crash under windows?


The drive has a couple garbled directories at first (last night) and today it says "this drive is not formatted, do you wish to format it now?"

This is a clean Windows 2000 install and the crashed drive is a second drive (this isn't a virus/spyware issue at all)


Know of any good software or anything?

I've had great results with Ontrack EasyRecovery Pro...it won't bring the HD back from the dead...but it will grab any data that might be otherwise lost.
