Do you have a Fixed or Adjustable rate mortgage?
If you own a home, did you get a fixed rate or adjustable rate mortage?
I'm curious what the % breakdown of fixed Vs. ARM mortage holders are out there. Is there anywhere online where those numbers are available? |
try lendingtree.com
Suze Orman seems to recommend it a lot |

ARM's + the inflated housing market are going to kill people I'm afraid :( |
just kidding if you're a tax man in here LOL
|
yes, we have a fixeds as well at 5.5

Unless you plan on living in your house for the rest of your life an ARM is the way to go. I got a 5 year ARM at 3.8% saving me over $700 a month compared to a 6% 30 year fixed. That is almost $50,000 saved in interest over a 5 year period.
