Hey! The Rules Changed!
Hmmm.... it used to 200 posts for a shirt. What does that mean for a Frogg like me that surpassed the 100 mark a long time ago?
I mean, I'm darn close to the 200 mark now, so that means content at some point, but where's my shirt? Am I just SOL on the shirt? It's cold up here in NY State! So.... what prompted the change in rules and what is to become of poor me and my 140+ posts? All cold, naked and lonely up here.... *shiver* ------------------ If dogs could fly, every once in a great while someone next to you would turn into a shithead. |

Naw, froggs drink grog to stay warm http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/biggrin.gif
|
Grog? Nope. Beck's Dark and Pete's Wicked Strawberry Blonde? Now you're talking.
Further more, we don't drink to stay warm. We have SHIRTS (we normally do) to keep us warm. And for us male Froggs, girlfriends. But, as some of us have already discovered, 'wearing' your girlfriend in public just isn't a good idea. A lot of fun, but still not a good idea. http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/biggrin.gif ------------------ Warning: Pissing on a live power is stupid. Esxactly what is grog?

I believe it's a fermented beverage the the Vikings used to drink. It was low-grade stuff that really fucked you up from what I've read in the history books.

Very weak meade of the Middle Ages
|
I stand corrected. OK, I'm actually sitting down, but you get the point.

If you want to know what meade is, it's basically honey beer. The Vikings did drink ale, meade & grog.
|
but what were they made of?

There is a non-alcohol version of grog called Virgin Grog:
Ingredients: cinnamon 2 whole cloves 2 cups granulated sugar Hibiscus tea 3/4 oz. lemon juice lemon twist 1 cup water Steps: 1. Stir lemon juice, simple syrup (see Tips, below) and cloves into an Irish-coffee glass or mug. 2. Fill the rest of the mug with hot Hibiscus tea. 3. Sprinkle ground cinnamon on top and garnish with a lemon twist. Tips: To make simple syrup, heat 2 c. sugar in 1 c. water. Stir until sugar is dissolved and the water is boiling. There are different versions of ale, meade & grog. Ale is basically beer (the European version not the American version) & meade is basically honey beer. Of course, depending on who you talk to, you will get different versions. |
Bump. ;)
