New York strip steaks are by far my favorite. Soak them in olive oil, season the shit out of them (even the fat on the side) and rub it in. Cook until juicy pink on the inside and enjoy.

Depends on where the meat was purchased. Good meat that is slight aged (which makes it better) will have a greenish tint to it. ALL super markets and major distributors inject red dye into the meat so people won't be afraid to buy it.

I feel sad for those that think some of those look rotten. Hell they havent gone far enough in my opinion. Steaks should not be red nor pink.
