Mike AI 05-26-2004 01:07 PM

LA Mike 05-26-2004 01:11 PM

MikeAI

We didnt race...I'm just challenging him :Graucho

I really dont know much about the CL55.. seems like a nice car for sure.. and fast

boneprone 05-26-2004 01:12 PM

I only see the M5

webgurl 05-26-2004 01:12 PM

All i have to say is the M5 is soooooo very cool , its like a normal looking family sedan that has amazing power thats the best part about it ...
:thumbsup

TheFrog 05-26-2004 01:13 PM

:thumbsup

boneprone 05-26-2004 01:13 PM

I like CL 55's ...

I think it may take you.. But the CL 55 is a bigger car.. And the M5 is probably designed to handle better on that track...

But I like the CL55..

ASk yourself what would the Masta negro race in...

I think the masta negro would take the CL 55.. Even if he lost, he would still look better.

LA Mike 05-26-2004 01:13 PM

Sure would be fun to setup a webmaster day at the track for everyone to run their cars :)

Abyss_Vee 05-26-2004 01:14 PM

i like the m5 more :thumbsup

The CL is only a two door and M5 is a four door.. I think the m5 is bigger but knowing Mercedez its prolly heavier. Anyone know the horses on the CL??

m5 dynan vs stock cl55 ?

Mike AI 05-26-2004 01:17 PM

Mercedes 55's normally run about 500hp. They are very heavy cars though.

boneprone 05-26-2004 01:17 PM

I have an old 85 Vette Pace care sitting in my Garage up on racks..

i usually drive it around town here for the fuck if it in 2 months out of the summer and to ride with the Corvette club here in Oregon in the Summer, but its got a totally new engine in it. Been my project car and I think it woudld do well on the track..

They have an open track thing up here at the PIR speedway ive been invited to over the years, after seeing that video you posted yesterday makes me wanna take it out.

Heavy compared to the M5..

So thats why I think on a track environment the M% may take it..

But youd still look better even as a looser in a race I think.

BigVlad 05-26-2004 01:19 PM

cl55 got no chance there
but cl 65 amg is real competitor:winkwink:

LA Mike 05-26-2004 01:19 PM

On a track, that M5 would tear it up..

M5's are almost constructed for that kind of stuff.

Basic_man 05-26-2004 01:25 PM

Ho shit man! I love your M5 !

Semi-Retired-Dave 05-26-2004 01:25 PM

I will accept the challenge, that would be fun. But I have to be honest. I did race my friends stock one on the freeway the other day starting at about 70, and I did beat it pretty bad.

But hey, you may just be a better driver then he was.

Then I may have to bring in the CyberAge backup. :winkwink:

The dragstrip at Pomona was rented by PopularMechanics...I think they said 10 or 15G's for the day but you also have to have some serious insurace coverage to rent the track. I want to look into it so we can get a webmaster event there :)

Mike it's seems to be the same place where you drived the m5 , I just compared both accelerations , s7 is amazing machine. thanks for another great video clip for my collection:thumbsup

Zprogramz 05-26-2004 01:33 PM

Mercedes has totally gone downhill. I know 3 people that have bought them in the past 2 years and all have had problems. 1 of them had so many problems that because of the California Lemon Law (and his attorney), he was able to return it to the dealer and they gave him all of his money back. His attorney told him that of all of the car problem cases that he handles, 70% are Mercedes.
