Thanks, but don't forget to read a short instruction in member-zone about how to start using it in full strength ;)

EviLGuY 05-26-2004 06:26 AM

I might check it out.. it'll be tough to tear me away from the one I use currently though. I don't want to rebuild my custom databases again. :(

xxxoutsourcing 05-26-2004 06:32 AM

we will give it a bash

dimonka 05-26-2004 07:02 AM

Btw, one BIG advice to all testers and users - if you don't understand something or can't do somethig in our submitter - don't think it's impossible, ask support first, or just read manual carefully (yeapp, I'm lazy too :)).

"Mighty Submitter is bought by you, so it is bound to your PC hardware and in case of attempt of usage of your account from another PC it will be blocked"

just curious... does that mean we can't use it on a laptop, since the IP may change when we travel?

teenoffice 05-26-2004 07:17 AM

You might wanna check out the images on your site, since i get all red crosses with my firewall on :)

No, the software is not bound to IP address.

Well, all I can tell is that we have a hotlink on all images from our site - this can be a reason :)

Bypassing the passphrase won't make you any friends. Thankfully the next TGP system I release will have optional dynamic submit forms to prevent people who use submitters that have image recognition from being able to automatically submit.

There already exist pass codes, that are almost impossible to recognize, the same as there are TGPs, who welcomes autosubmissions. It depends on situation and desires of each webmaster.

If a TGP webmaster is using passphrases, wouldn't it be safe to assume that he/she doesn't want autosubmissions? If I were using passphrases and found someone using an autosubmitter, I would treat them like any other cheater.

Strife 05-26-2004 11:23 AM

yet another submitter...don't we have enough of them already

It's just a the test period, so our database is not complete yet, so please send us a list of TGPs you would like to see there - and we will add then in our next database update. After that you may either delete unnecessary TGPs from entire database or just disable them for one of your profiles.

Btw, we are going to start a custom database creation service right after the test period is over. And it won't cost you much, don't worry - it is much more important for us to keep the customer happy with our service and databases :)

Well, not all pass phrases are recognized 100% correct. Some of them (really complex ones, low quality, many different fonts) are recognized with 97-99% or even less, so they should be used in manual submissions, where software just helps webmasters filling the forms, making routine work for them, saving their time, which can be used for making better galleries, don't you think so? :)

No, I don't think so.

There is something wrong on that, I suppose it's a fast way to be blacklisted

dimonka 05-26-2004 11:53 AM

Well, from your point of view any submitter is an enemy. But that's because that your job (as it seemed to me looking at your WWW) includes constant creation of some new ways of protection from autosubmitters. But imagine what would happen, if there was no such software. Well, I don't say that there would be much less posts on TGPs - it's obvious and probably even good. But there would be no necessarity in any kind of protection, so even the easiest free TGP script would be good enough, so no one would buy expensive payscripts. OK, you want to help TGP owners, we wanna help webmasters - we are just on different sides, and each of us is part right, part wrong... :)

Well, of course you should check it out in manual mode first

dimonka 05-26-2004 01:04 PM

Please note, that Mighty Submitter is not autosubmitter ONLY, it has a built-in manual submitter as well, which is, in fact, just an extended browser with submit queue and many other features for filling TGP forms.

There is not only AUTO submission mode in Mighty Submitter, there is manual submitter too... So my suggestion to all users - please submit these TGPs with passphrases in MANUAL submitter, it does not take much time...

BUT instead of fillilng all these fucking-long-codes manually, you simply check, if submitter recognized and filled all the codes correct...

Isn't it fun and stupid to deny all webmasters to use submission soft... IMO it is as much stupid as demand gallery HTML to be coded in notepad only...
