Bill Rules :thumbsup |
Havent noticed many sites in .NET right now - but the amount of developers switching over from asp and php is huge. .NET is by far the most powerful web programming framework - love it!

I don't even really know what .net IS.. aside from something microsoft made. Does anyone have a good link? I did a search a min ago.. and it was a lot of jibba jabba to sort through.

Couldn't agree more, its tough to get a good overview of .NET - partially because its a framework which emcompasses web, desktop, phone, pda programming.
www.asp.net is a great resource for learning about the web side of the .NET framework. Otherwise check out http://www.microsoft.com/net/basics/ for a complete overview. |
I'll stick with PHP/MYSQL . .NET is an over-engineered mess that tries to be everything to everybody. Not to mention that Windows still has serious sercurity issues.

Billy is not the worst.
I'm currently reading his book, but I still don't have a clue how to make my first billion. |
I have seen a few sites using .asp in .net.

licensing killed cold fusion and will kill .net as well.
php will prevail! |
Mine is .net
