How much to pay when shooting a model? Per shoot vs. exclusive
 

I was wonderig how much I should be paying when shooting a model? Here's my thoughts -
$100 per photoshoot {or}
50/50 partnership

I'm more curious about the partnerships because I have a friend that I've been talking with and she wants to do a website. Featuring her only in a nice little niche. I'd do everything but she'd be there for the content http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif of course! Now should I do a 50 / 50 split after all costs are taken out? Some friends have told me that's too much, but they don't do adult sites. I was thining of a 60(me)/40(her) before costs and that way I don't have to figure out how much to take out per month. Whatcha think?

We pay girls between $200 - $1000+ per shoot. A partnership is a bad idea, unless the model can contribute more than just posing. Taking your clothes off for 40-50% is way too high a pay, she needs to help run the site, etc.

Okay Lensman, thanks for the info. Unfortunately my friend and I were talking about the partnership deal. We're planning on making the site and updating weekly. She was a photography student in HS and college but that's not her degree. So she'll be able to help out with the photography issues and ideas. She's not too computer savvy though.

I have no idea how much money a pay site will pull in. I will have her on a site and I'll also have 1 other site to start. Then I'll add a 3rd in a few months after these have been active.

How much can you expect to get in the first few months for your 1st site? (this is a leg fetish site) Givin the proper promotion and such.

What type of split should I probably do?

I also wanted to add that she's helping me find other girls to pose. So that's a big help too. My 3rd site is going to be of a selection of pics.
