GMAIL sucks sweaty bulls testicles
 

I am part of that exclusive group of 20 million or so beta testers for Google's GMail.

I have only sent five emails over the last week and one of those was replied to same day I sent it five days ago, and just got to my inbox today. That email was going Vegas to Vegas also. I could have got a snail mail from Ulaan Bataar quicker.

A small sample but that is a 20% fuckup ratio.

Also an invite I had that was supposed to last for three weeks, expired in three days.

Anyone else having problems with them?

I'm looking foward to try it, does someone know when are they going to finish the beta phase?

Well.. it IS a beta product still. I am sure all the kinks will be worked out by the time they launch it for everyone. :2 cents:

I asked a zillion times why peope want an email account with them so badly.
Whats all the fuss about? Nobody answered me so far.

The reasons I got it:

-To have a 1GB webmail account I can access anywhere even if I don't have my laptop(Friends house, Internet kiosk/Cafe etc). No long url to remember or configuring a mail client needed.

-I also subscribe to a bunch of newsletters which if I don't read them right away, tend to clog up my inbox. Gmail keeps everything in threads so easy to follow.

-I am curious to see what ads they display related to the text of the email.
