And then have you had that post completely bypassed and left unnoticed by everyone else participating in the conversation or thread?

It sucks ass, and it happens to me a lot. Please don't tell me I'm the only one out there to whom this happens.

yeah, her number was awesome. I thought the Mister Cellophane bit was really well done and sung, though. I downloaded the Broadway version by accident, and it paled in comparison to the movie remake.

Yes, getting any serious responses on GFY is no longer possible in my opinion. Unless you have pics or would you hit it type threads, it'll disappear too quickly. It's rather sad how this boards quality has dropped rather quickly.

It happens to all of us at some point. I've heard several people say that they scan the Topic Starter column and read only those threads that are started be a few select people on their "list". I'm sure that's how a lot of people read threads too.

Yea, which is funny, because I thought the filet mignon one yesterday would just die off, and it came back this morning. 30 posts for a filet mignon post, but just about any other thread, it goes un-noticed for me!

I hear ya. It's the weird ones that stick around. I made (what I thought would be) a great thread on the weekend, asking for people's barbeque recipies, but only about 8 people posted before it died. Ah well.
