Who here remembers "Intermission?"
 

Man I think if they pulled that shit today people would riot.

Right in the middle of your movie stop it for 10-15 minutes so people could load up on more snacks...LOL

Didn't they do an intermission during the first LofTR movie?

I remember them days.

Sadly that was the only one I didn't get to see in the theater. :(

Just barely.. I think its a good idea still. Half the time by the middle of the movie I have to take a wicked piss, and men aren't meant to hold it.

When they were still doing that I was just a kid so a bit anxious...who knows as an adult I might like it better.

Yeah the drink size should be indexed to the length of time expected to wait between potty breaks, definitely. No jumbo drinks for 3 hour movies!

I remember intermission. There was a super long one in The (something?) of the Lighthorsemen and a few others. And of course in Monty Python movies :)
