do you remember the days when a domain registration fee is
$100 (for two years and no 1 year option) and you could only
get your domain from only and only one source?

I don't remember the $100 for two years, but I remember it being a little cheaper, and there was only a 2 yr option no 1 yr.

I remember it was $70 to register a domain, and it was or 2 yrs.

Actually, I remember the period between registering and paying for the domain and would burn the shit out of spamming the domains and letting them go....
but that was a bad thing to do ;-)

Domains were originally free to register.
