Lakers win tonight?

I think they've got to be so pissed at last nights game and so pumped for this they're going to come out full force and not give the TWolves anything.

:BangBang:

The Truth Hurts 05-25-2004 02:30 PM

t'wolves neet to shut them down early, otherwise it's gonna be slaughter.

I agree. The Wolves were playing so dirty and not getting called for anything. Worst reffing so far this playoffs: Lakers getting charges when feet are clearly in the arch, Malone gets ejected for nothing....

Go Lakers!

EviLGuY 05-25-2004 02:36 PM

Yeah my money would be on the Lakers tonight.

Jennie 05-25-2004 02:39 PM

I won on the Pistons last night, I may have to let it ride, lol.

loverboy 05-25-2004 02:41 PM

they should, $100 on the line, can't afford to loose this time

D-Money 05-25-2004 02:46 PM

Lakers will win.

They didn't play with intensity last game, that's why they lost. This game they'll play amp'd up.

I don't think anyone can beat the Lakers when they're fired up.

I predict Shaq will have at least 18 rebounds and 20 some points while Kobe will have over 30 points.

I expect them to go to Shaq early, then go to Kobe at the end.

Someone needs to make 3 pointers tonight, either Fisher or Rush.

If we hit the 3, I expect a comfortable lead, without the 3, it will be a close game.

I also think the Lakers defense will make adjustments. Slava will be brought in to foul and lay a body on their big men.

Prediction, Lakers 83 Timberlosers 78

What everyone needs to understand is the NBA is run like a business. If the lakers sweep, its bad for business so from time to time a team has to lay down, which is exactly what happened in game two. My guess is the NBA wants this series to go 6 games. That way both teams get their 3 games at home(Huge money). TNT gets their 6 full games to sell add spots(even bigger money), and everyone is happy. Plus the fact Garrnet won the MVP this year shows, the NBA wants to give KG some exposure. Tonight lakers should win going away, Thurs will be a closer game...

crowkid 05-25-2004 02:53 PM

Even though I can't stand the Lakers, for many reasons

(1)broke my teams heart, sacramento 2) everyone and their mother, regardless if they even live in CA, support lakers and wears a Kobe Rapist jersey, fucking sheep ; 3) even the nba's own commissioner David Stern publicly says I want lakers to win, can we say fixed?

but regardless, when you piss off Lakers, they come back and RAPE you, even if kobes on fire or not, lol.. So all the minnesota fans should be scurred, very scurred, they kicked the beehive, so they better be ready.

ytcracker 05-25-2004 02:54 PM

go lakers

bdld 05-25-2004 02:55 PM

yup they'll win tonight and the next game, lose another in minnesota then close it out back in la. lakers in 6.

Purple Haze 05-25-2004 02:56 PM

Lakers will win!

Also keep in mind last years NBA finals, (Spurs VS.Nets) drew the worst ratings in 10 years. What's going to get people watching is a Lakers, Detroit series, and the amount of money on the line is staggering, so of course its fixed.

You are right ... already in game 1 I had the feeling the league wanted the Lakers to lose ... it's obvious more games = more money.

Vitasoy 05-25-2004 03:54 PM

I dunno, but they'll win the series. :thumbsup

edcrack 05-25-2004 04:00 PM

Lakers should win. Just hope they don't come playing really pissed off and screw up the game.

axelcat 05-25-2004 04:03 PM

:thumbsup

Axeman 05-25-2004 04:04 PM

I sure hope they dont. If they can win today they have a good shot next game as Kobe may not make it back from court in time

edcrack 05-25-2004 04:16 PM
