What's a good small TV?
 

I want to setup a TV and DVD player on my desk so I have something to watch while I work. Have no idea what to get, need something relatively small though, something that would fit nicely on a desk. Don't want to spend too much, couple hundred between the TV and DVD player, maybe $400 max.

Any suggestions?

I have the Panasonic Tau 20" in my office. 600 Lines of resolution so its close to an HDTV quality picture. The colors are exceptionally vivid and absolutely gorgeous. Panasonics have BBE sound so you get an audio experience that sounds like a high end home stereo speaker system.

Tau CT-20SL13 is the model number. Most of the big electronics chains carry it. Under $300.

Just get one of those little portable DVD players with like a 7" screen. They are CHEAP.

How small is small for you?

Perhaps get a second monitor and use your pc's DVD player. So then when you aren't watching a DVD you have more room to work/play.

GFY is distracting enough, but a fucking TV next to your monitor... you really don't want to work do you ? :winkwink:

I'm at the computer 16-18 hours a day, everyday. Need something to break up the work.

15"-19" is probably the size range I'm looking for.
