How long does HIV take to start doing damage?
Got a paranoid friend who thinks he has an HIV symptom (a skin condition called mulluscum in his pube-lower abdomen area below the belt). But he hasn't had sex or anything in a year. Also, usually HIV patients get that on their face apparently, not below the belt.
I told him he would be sick by now if he's had HIV for the last year. Is that right? |
Does it burn when he pees?

You can then be symptom-free for even 10 years or so, before you develop complications of a weakened immune system. These symptoms are more varied and include serious infections. People may develop weight loss, fevers, tiredness, and a host of other infections. |
HIV....tell him to go to a doctor.

he better get 2 the doctor, he has a very rare decease, within a week or 2 his dick will get a big hook in it (as in crook) next will follow pain, then it will fall off.

It's probably not HIV, but he should get the skin problem checked out and get an HIV test just to be on the safe side.
He definately shouldn't look at HIV symptoms online cause he'll drive himself crazy thinking he's got every symptom.. |

every disease has the same symptoms and you always "just felt that way" a little while ago. its cruel! in answer to the post, tell your friend to go to the doctor. logically, if he has it, he's only doing himself a disservice by not going and if he doesnt have it he can find out and breathe easy. |
Better be safe than sorry!

Every person is different, it all determines on their immune system, once the HIV completely is in full the immune system will weaken allowing all sort of other diseases or sicknesses to take over the body, because no one really dies of HIV it is basically the other sicknesses that kill the person because the body cannot fight off anymore...

He should go to the doctor asap.
