Shouldn't be paying over $500 for that, but it also depends on what your hardware setup is. ICQ #36837470

Hello AdvertisingSex,

Hit me up about what Candid Hosting.com can offer you!

The following couple of items may be of real interest to you:
1. Candid Hosting bills on the average NOT the 95 th percentile.
2. Candid Hosting only charges for outbound traffic.

Based upon that, lets work up a deal for a dedicated server and your 150 GB of monthly transfer.:thumbsup

EviLGuY 05-24-2004 09:27 PM

Prob a few hundred bucks.

Phil21 05-24-2004 09:33 PM

If 2.2TB = actually equals outbound, $500 range is correct for a decent server w/ 2500GB included.

However, if that 2.2TB is actually INBOUND (i.e. traffic is GOING to your server), I can swing you an extremely good deal.

Hit me up if interested. phil at reflected.net or ICQ 25285313

I just copied and pasted my server stats for April 1st thru May 1st.

Most of it is tgp traffic.

Why don't we go out for some drinks and talk about it? Hit me up on ICQ at 868140 ... I'm in Vegas too..

As Phil said we can give you a really, really good price if most of your traffic is inbound.

Host probably doesn't know how to setup MRTG properly. I guarantee the in/out is switched.

If you install MRTG as a default RPM on the server, it's probably logging from the switch though.

You can get an unmetered 10mbit from us (~3000 gigs), it's full duplex meaning 10mbit in and 10mbit out, starting from $399/month, with cPanel/WHM. It's fully managed, multihomed, monitored with response at 5 minute intervals for all service failures, not just a ping reply. Emergency staff is available for reboots 24/7 through a pager ticket system. Hit me up, I'm sure you won't find a better deal elsewhere, and if you do, let me know. ICQ 51034232

10 megabit uncapped 95th percentile on a killer server for $699 here at MojoHost. Quality matters http://www.mojohost.com

Cheers,

Brad
