Hey guys... I'm a noob but got a question.

Lets say I were to run a home grown chat site.
This site would just have regular folks like yahoo chats but with cams. Would a click through tos agreement be enough to allow me to take their images from their cam broadcasts and publish them all over the net to better promote my site?
Do i need to get signed releases or anything?
How about like reselling the pics?
Ok ok abuse me.
I am new and its my first post.
But after the abuse can you let me know if this legit?

Getting signed releases would be a good thing. A very good thing. Not getting them would be a bad thing. A very bad thing.

You're right sweetie

Yeah, and dont even THINK about forging those releases. Unless you always wondered what really happens when you drop the soap in prison.

Even if the tos says by agreeing you allow me to take ownership of all images and cam streams to do with what I wish?
I thought for sure that would work.
So I have to have signed releases from all my cammers if I want to use their images elsewhere?
Again I don't mean to sound stupid.
I just see a few successful sites doing this and wanted to jump into the game so to speak.

It would probably be best as a CYA move to have signed releases. I'm no lawyer and I don't even play one on TV. It's just people are freaks and just going off a TOS might cause a problem. Your best bet in any case like this is to consult a lawyer that is skilled in internet realted issues.
