Whats the best video editing software?
 

I have some raw DVD content I want to make clips out of.

Like 10 second mpeg clips at about 1 mb each, or something like that.

Anyone point me in the right direction for programs?

Not necessarily the BEST software, as long as it's fairly easy to use. I'd normally pay someone to do this sort of thing, but I am just bored...

Umm, well I guess both then.
I have to rip it from the DVD, then encode it?

Basically I just want to take say 10 second long clips out of the DVD video.
Would need to put a url stamp on it too. And for it to be in mpeg.
