NEW CONTEST!! At least $50 for a BANNER design
 

Ok, since I didn't get such a great response from the contest I started I decided to change the terms from the contest. Here is the deal:

I want a 468x60 banner (or close to that), it doesn't matter if the banner is static or animated as long as it is hot.

Please don't make the file size too big (try to make it close to 30kb, banners over 60kb won't stand a chance).

The site is: http://tranza.allowednet.com/, you can use any pic in there to create the banner.

Winner will get US$50 thought paypal once I receive the PSD files used to create the banner. And the name of the fonts used.

Note: IF YOU DON'T WIN AND I DECIDE TO USE YOUR BANNER YOU'LL GET $10 FOR YOUR EFFORTS.

Contest will end on June 2nd. So you guys have plenty of time, I'll bump this thread once a day.

Lots of newbie designers here charge about 10 $ for a normal banner ... Why wouldn't they enter ?

I've changed the terms, increased the payout and closed the other contest.

I don't get why I'm being flamed, I started a thread last week asking designers if they would enter a contest like this and I received quite a lot of positive answers.

I guess most of the ppl that are bashing me aren't really designers.... So fuck off, your opinion doesn't matter.... :thumbsup

Haven't you seen all the $7-$10 banners threads lately?? This is a nice contest to those people to get their work exposed and show that they have some good shit, this way people won't be ablel to bash them just because of their low prices...

And the banner that I like the most will get $50, wtf are you talking about no winners??

i am with Lady on this one...if you do not choose someones banner, then i would preffer it NOT used rather than getting $10 for it and you get to keep it anyway...:2 cents:

Sucks trying to have a banner design contest and get flamed over it....sorry but it also help new designers get samples out....I love looking at the design threads.....except this one has no banners yet.....most banner designers can whip them out pretty quick and easy....enter if you want.....shut the fuck up if you dont :2 cents:
