Deadwood
My fav line from last nights Deadwood show
The Dr was looking/examining the local whores. And said to one of them. "When you giggle you leak piss." |
I agree - blew dr pepper out my nose after he said that lol

How about these...pulled off the HBO site.
My fav is #5. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh 1. August commencement to my administration, standing stymied outside a saloon beside a degenerate titlicker.? ?E.B. Farnum 2. ?Glad I taught you that fuckin' word.? ?Swearengen, realizing that "c*cksucker" wasn't the best word to teach Wu. 3. ?Anything the mayor should know?" "The name of another tailor.? ?Farnum & Swearengen 4. ?Even money, this'll end in a bloodbath.? ?Swearengen 5. ?Get a fucking haircut. Looks like your mother fucked a monkey.? ?Swearengen to Adams. 6. ?Mr. Farnum's doing a land-office business. Or should I say "Mayor" Farnum." "Don't unless you feel like you have to.? ?Merrick & Bullock 7. ?Did that blood stain get you the special rate?? ?Eddie Sawyer to Joanie |

I've only seen part of that show..but the complete lawlessness of it makes it intriguing.
|
I am really digging that show, makes up for boring Soprano's (not last night, might you :Graucho)
Just when I thought the show was in for a tail-spin after killing Wild Bill, it just gets better and better. Mind you, any show or movie that has Ricky Jay in it, can't be half bad! :thumbsup |

Deadwood is a great show!
My favorite line from last night was not even listed on HBO's site. "You can't cut the throat of every cocksucker who's character it would improve." :1orglaugh |

I love that fucking show.
We play drinking games during it. Everyone takes a shot when someone says "cocksucker" and by the end of the show you got a house full of fucked up people guaranteed. Swearengen is da man! |
Anybody else love listening to Miss Garret talk? Damn I'd love to bang her.
|
whats even great about this show is the reality of it...do a search on the history of deadwood...alot of these events really happened...wild bill was really killed there...and miss garet...man i'd be that bullock fellow i'd do her in a sec!

I am a poker player and when wild bill was shot at the poker table his cards were Aces & 8's thats how the "Dead Mans Hand" was named. I looked some stuff up online a few weeks back about a movie "the last samuri" and found out some info about Calamity Jane Calamity Jane, c.1852-1903, American frontier character, b. Princeton, Mo. Her real name was Martha Jane Canary, and the origin of her nickname is obscure. Little is known of her early life beyond the fact that she moved with her parents to Virginia City, Mont., in 1865 and that she grew up in mining camps and rough frontier communities. In 1876 she appeared in Deadwood, S.Dak., dressed in men's clothes and boasting of her marksmanship and her exploits as a pony-express rider and as a scout with Custer's forces. In her later years she toured the West in a burlesque show and appeared at the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, N.Y. She died in poverty and obscurity in Deadwood, where she is buried beside Wild Bill Hickock. |

You might like this then Hickok, Wild Bill, 1837-76, American frontier marshal, b. Troy Grove, near Ottawa, Ill. His real name was James Butler Hickok. He took part in the Kansas struggle preceeding the Civil War, was a driver of the Butterfield stage line, and gained fame as a gunfighter. He served as a Union scout in the Civil War. After the war he became deputy U.S. marshal at Fort Riley (1866), marshal of Hays, Kans. (1869), and marshal of Abilene (1871). His reputation as a marksman in desperate encounters with outlaws made him a figure of frontier legend. After a tour of the East with Buffalo Bill (1872-73), Hickok went to Deadwood (now in S.Dak.) where he was murdered by Jack McCall. courtesy of the history channel web site I didnt know he hung out with Buffalo Bill :) |
