My house is a slaughterhouse today.....
 

Little corpses are littering the house upstairs and down.. the cats found a family of mice and decimated them, one by one. I keep stumbling over more corpses, and I woke up to them killing the mother this morning. They started killing the babies last night around 9 pm or so, and it went on all through the night. Thumpthump Squeak thumpthump squeak.

It's so wet outside the mice are being driven in, and the last fucking thing I need is a mouse infestation. Little fuckers. GRR!!! I can't wait to move! :P

On a side note, I'm surprised at my little female cat. My males are 14 pounds and 19 pounds, and they just play with the mice.. my little female is like 5 pounds and she is an executioner. She killed two mice to their every one, and she was fierce doing it. Wow

Anyways, I'm done babbling now.. I'm so tired I'm crosseyed though I hardly slept a wink all night long.

Cats are cool, that's what you feed them for.

Well I know mousetraps sure wouldn't do the job with these little bastards. :)

Females are generally the better hunters. The males usually don't give a shit. Good thing you have them can you imagine going through that with no cats.

Yuck. This week my dogs keep coming in the house with little tiny dead baby birds. They must be falling out of a nest somewhere on my property that I can't seem to locate. What a disgusting mess. I feel for you, although it's nicer to get rid of mice than cute little birdies...

Holy shit that sucks balls. I'd hate to have mice lying dead in my house.

Yeah especially with all the clothing in storage and a new baby. Hantavirus is a bad thing.

I'm glad the kids are smart enough not to touch them. Usually dead little things inspire a lot of compassion in my daughter, but the dead mice didn't seem to overly upset her. Guess she saw how hard I cried when the little fuckers destroyed my antique chair while it was in storage.

Wow those are some killer cats. Do they bring them to you? My cats used to do that. When they caught something, they came bringing it to me like a present.

I have always heard that cats are just like tigers...
They will kill their prey and take it back to their family ... Just like when a cat kills a mouse or bird and proudly brings it to its owner.. puts it on the porch or displays it in the middle of the floor.. Just for you :-))
It just means they love ya and cats are very very intellegent...

I used to raise mice in High School. Had about 30 of them and was trying to generate new colors and types for a science project.

Saw one of my neighbors who was an old fucker that hated all the kids in the neighborhood pounding something on the driveway with a big shovel. My friends and I walked over to see what he was doing and it was a little mouse he was trying to crush.

So my friends and I told him to stop and he told us to go to hell.

So we grabbed some rocks and nailed the fucking old goat.

Yes I took them all, and thank you. And yes. those are my kids. I don't have any of my more recent stuff up.. I haven't had time to update in ages. I will get around to that this week JUST for you :)

Haha nice! I LOVE pet mice.. I used to breed Gerbils for pet shops.. But field mice are vermin, and especially around here where they are known carriers of deadly hantavirus, I'm glad to let the cats deal with them.

But like I say, I do like the pet ones. They don't carry deadly disease :)

Cats are brutal. I had never heard a baby mouse scream before my cat got one. Most of the mice just left on their own. I guess they figured the elements would be kinder to them than the cat would be.
