My GF's phone was stolen today...

why can't ppl keep their hands off of other ppl's property?
I can't stand the fact that some loser went thru all her stuff in her purse and stole her phone... it makes me sooooo fucking mad!

I seriously wanna break stuff

luckily we're insured for about everything so she'll have a new one in a couple of days... it just pisses me off.

jhauser 05-24-2004 07:41 AM

It sucks when other people have to ruin it for others. Glad to hear she will get a replacement.

Boogie3 05-24-2004 07:41 AM

Try calling it.

poorwebmaster 05-24-2004 07:43 AM

one of the dumbest things to steal is a phone

- they make call

- you get number where call is made

- you get your phone back

it was outside a collegeroom in a locker, on property that is only allowed for students/teachers.

Ross 05-24-2004 08:07 AM

Shit like that pisses me off a lot. Nothing is safe anymore!

smokingdawn 05-24-2004 08:48 AM

That really sucks...sorry

Reak 05-24-2004 08:49 AM

Which phone ??

Babaganoosh 05-24-2004 08:52 AM

Why can't ppl just spell out the word P-E-O-P-L-E?

Basic_man 05-24-2004 08:55 AM

So someone broke into her locker and stole her cell phone? That sucks..

Malezia 05-24-2004 09:13 AM

shit.. know how she must feel. happened to me once

iFliPcEss 05-24-2004 09:17 AM

yeap, I lost my phone twice, someone stole it, snatching & stealing is a normal thing here, because most we are using a prepaid card, so its easy for the thieves to change the number of our cel because sim card is cheap

JamesK 05-24-2004 09:19 AM

I once got ripped and that's about it. Getting ripped is fucking annoying because there's nothing you can do. It prolly already happened when you find out. It happens a lot here in Rotterdam.

no the university has lcokers there that won't lock... nobody knows why but it hasn't been a problem so far. 3 others got ripped to so we're taking a look if we can make the university liable for not giving any options to safely store your stuff.

I hope that the room/locker was locked. I used to work for the company that does all the vodafone insurances. And if there is no sign of breaking in, you get nothing back. They suck!!!

You live in Rotterdam? We are almost neighbours then...:)

And yes Rotterdam is terrible. Lots of people getting ripped

It is kind of her fault for leaving it there in a locker that doesn't lock. We had a similar problem at our school lockerroom, and our lockers do lock...when I go to the gym I don't bring anything valuable with me...

Well not exactly, she has no alternative... IMO the university is liable becoz they provide no safe place to store your valuables when you are obliged to leave everything behind. I will see what we can do.

Some people's kids. :(

Why steal a phone anyways? Like you aren't going to notice and cancel it in a couple hrs.

Are these lockers at the gym? Does she leave her stuff there to go work out at the gym? If so, why can't she just leave her stuff at home?

no not at the gym, she's a med student and she had practice in cutting corpses (dunno how to put it nicely LOL) so they're not allowed to take anything with them.

It would have been an option to leave her stuff at home I agree with ya, and she feels pretty stupid about letting her stuff sit in a room that's easily accessible for a lot of ppl but then again, ppl should just keep their hands off other ppls shit.

Ah well we'll see what the insurance will say, I'm getting a new phone for myself today so I'll buy one for her too.
