Hate to say this (without seeing the video of course) if he is just releasing it and not profiting from it there is little to nothing you can do. He is the photographer correct?
Was he under the employment of someone when the video was made that could have an intellectual property rights clause?

Amp, the video is harmless, and you didn't seem to be forced to appear in it.. i dont see how a lawsuit would hold up in any form of court.. because he didnt profit from it, you seemed to go along with it (in your own home), and there is no slander involved.. :2 cents:

Did you willingly allow the video to be shot? Was it in Private, is it damging your reputation, did you know Aaron was a professional photographer?

I feel that it's harming me. (business appearances) And I want it removed, and I want restitution.

I never agreed to any of it being released until it was "finished". (although I never had any intention of finishing it) And Aaron gave me his "word" that he would stick to that. Granted it was verbal. Not good for me, not good for him either.

That obviously didn't happen, and I don't think video of me is doing me a whole lotta good at this stage. I'm not on the campaign trail, and I'm not trying to make an impression on anyone. This video is not to my benefit, which in my view, is doing the opposite. Damage.

You say you feel that it is harming you. you could try for defamation but then again it is you in the video acting of your own accord so your fucked there.

I would say that you broke an "implied" promise: the implied promise to Amp and to the rest of us that the name "AaronM" means 'a down to earth badass mother fucker with class'. That does not take away from your class... but what WOULD take away the class of AaronM would be to purposefully torture a person that's admittedly ill at the moment.

That is still a very sad situation. Amp, you're flat out wrong about that. You lost a good friend. You should get him back. It's good therapy to admit when you're wrong. And I know Aaron would be gracious about it and not rub it in your face more than once. It would be pretty painless and you would feel great... AND you'd have a good friend back.

I'm trying to see if Amp has some sort of hidden concern here. It's hard for me to see what he's concerned about with that video. Am I missing something? I thought the video was great.

That video was great...It would have been even better to have it full length.

What you are missing is that AMP really is a nice guy but he can't deal with that side so he has to revert back to the "other" AMP that we all know and uh....hmm...like?

I honestly did. It made me like him more. It's a great "behind the scenes" video. I think it's actually artistic. Maybe I read more into videos than what are actually there, but I see a lot of "the human condition" in the story of Amp... from the board to the video. He's a guy making a living as a designer for one of the most successful companies in the porn business. Yet he faces the same problems and personal demons as everyone else in the "mainstrean" world. He's justifiably proud of being "self taught". It's a great clip.

You filmed that shit on MY property, you have zero paperwork, you gave me a verbal promise that it would not be published until further filming was completed, you published it without my consent, and I think all of us here are smart enough to know it will be spread and edited into defamatory derivatives.

When I wrote this I was still puzzling over why Amp was upset about this video. I thought I must be missing something. I guess I missed nothing. Amp is assuming that because Aaron posted this video, there must be some sinister motive behind it.

I do believe Amp is incorrect in this assumption.
