Myst
Did this happen all of sudden or this a new install? |
You could have a virus that corrupted your NAV files. Go to the symantec site and do a scan. I had that problem once and I found the solution in their online FAQ.

Sounds like you have a virus that turned off your anti virus. thats about the only reason i can think of that you'd have this problem.
I've seen this a few times before. Serves you right for using that piece of shit Nortons crap. Get this one if you really want to do something about viruses, other then spread them. http://www.kaspersky.com/ Made by Russian scumbag hax0rs.. so you know its going to do a good job. :Graucho |
Norton isnt so complicated. You can make change, and them some autorun with windows things. :winkwink:
There is support team to :thumbsup |
This use to happen to me also, when windows booted up there was a X through the Norton icon in the taskbar. I hit enable and it would take awhile but it would eventually come on..... I think after I upgraded to the next version it started to work......
Try killing the process and starting it manually.... that will be a pain in the ass to do it everytime you boot up though.... |
norton anti virus is a piece of fucking shit.
