When I first got this, from an ex whom I worked for 3 years ago...under the name ANgel on his site for about 6-8 weeks, I was thinking, "Why the Hell WOULD you be gettnig emails to [email protected] ?! I have been gone for over 3 years and I was only there under that name for a few months at best! Sooo....I went and looked at his site. The emails are not for me! He has hired a new model going by the name Angel! The emails are for HER! Has he lost his damned mind?! Should I even be worried? Or will he realize that these messages are NOT for me?

I'd call the cops. Whether he was serious or not, people have GOT to learn that they can't talk to people that way and get away with it.

I am in Cali, he is in Vegas...Do I call MY cops or his?! Where would I file a restraining order? I have not replied, because he is the type to get my IP addy and try to screw with my machines and such...WAY too much drama!

He will look at the headers, grab my IP address and start trying to mess with my machines via that info.

When I left him, he took parts out of my machines and such...REALLY bitter guy. I mean, heck, I left him over 3 years ago and get THIS out of the blue!

I'm pretty sure you would call his local police precinct. Tell them that you can forward them the e-mail with headers and tell them you would like to file a report and that you would also like to get a restraining order. I believe you will also need to file a restraining order with your local precinct in case he does ever come around so that if you have to call your local police on him they will have it on record, but you might want to call your local office anyway and ask their advice.

Sounds like a lot of talk.. I'd report him to the police though. Make a document trail so if it gets ugly down the road they can do something.

Wouldn't that mean he would get a copy of it along with my home address? I have been cautious to NOT let him know where I live. He has popped up once a year, usually around this time but this is the worst

Yes, same guy. EVERY year in May, he does SOMETHING (that is when I left him three years ago), this time is the most threatening though. It DOES scare me a little, I must admit.

WOW Kayla thats pretty fucked up. I'd recommend you take out a restraining order and maybe have an alarm in your house if you don't already. Do you live alone or with someone? If you live with someone make sure he/she sleeps with a bat or golf club under his/her bed :)

Please call the local office of the United States Secret Service, ask to speak with someone that handles computer crime, print out a copy of that e-mail with full headers and be prepared to head down to their offices.

This is an interstate issue, and the U.S.S.S. handles this kind of computer crime, they will send a couple of agents and more likely than not it will mellow him out, if you have past e-mails, that will help in forming a case that the prosecutor will use to convict him for any number of laws that he's already broken.

Keep us advised how it goes.

Print everything out so that you have a paper copy, pass it on to your local police force, log a complaint with them and ask for advice from them.

That is good advise. Make sure you report it, so they can do something about it. It might just be to threaten you and make you scared, but you never know how crazy he will get. This way the police will know what is going on.

If he's been doing that every summer since you left him, then I think you should take it seriously. They have given all the advise you needed, just be sure that you don't wander alone, invite some friends to sleep over to your house or much better, go to your parents house. It's not like you're being a cry baby or something, they have the right to know what's going on to you. Take care.:)
