Well it would have been nice to own Broadcast.com back in like 1995, then sell it to microsoft for about 300 millions dollars and live life like that dude that now owns the Mavericks.

Mark Cuban sold Broadcast.com for $9 Billion to Yahoo.com and it was mostly stock - he had to hold on to the stock for a year. During that year the stock went from $120 to a high of $240 a share. He sold the stock for a cool $18 Billion.

Yahoo then found out Broadcast.com could not be trademarked because Ibroadcast had the trademark and it would be confusing. This was one of the biggest jokes on the Internet.

Broadcast.com was valued at $9 Billion based upon $80 per 1000 impressions. Shortly after Cuban cashed out, Yahoo's stock started dropping and landed at about $12 a share.

Cuban has a great sense of timing.
