I have read people saying that you can get in alot of trouble fast if you dont know how to use adwords properly. Can anyone elaborate on the "proper" way to do it and is it even worth it for a paysite ?

OK I'm drunk now but I always at least double my money with adwords. Put the price in the ad and keep the bids low to begin with. Then adjust your budget when you see how your ROI is. Just keep adjusting. I keep it all in a spreadsheet. Make a column for daily earnings too. Sometimes you up the bid but you get more useless traffic so more traffic isn't always a better daily earning.

probably if you a) dont set a price limit b) dont put a price, every person and their mother will cost you 5 cents. and thats a lot.

Set a daily budget that you can afford, try not to use terms that are too general in nature, use just a few very keyword specific terms to start with, and make sure you follow all the rules. I try to mention the price (depending on the campaign) to keep the clicks from cheap fuckers to a minimum.

And yes, it is definitely worth it for a paysite. It's probably the best money you'll ever spend.

It's not hard to do it but be careful at first and keep an eye on your results.

The keywords I have tried to use are too non-general and it says they will yield < 1 hit a day. Can anyone help me out with some keywords that would be good ?

well it might help to know what you are trying to promote...

Be specific. You're not gonna get assloads of traffic I'll tell you that. I promote like 10 sites on there and it doesnt rake much cash in but it's a big ROI.

NakedSouth. General teen terms. People don't generally type in like "teens from tennessee naked fucking vagina pounding" but you'll catch peoples eyes who dig teens from the south. The problem with that is that your CTR might not be good enough for google to still consider you a human being.
