What ever happend to markslinks?
 

I just went thru my 2001 LL list and when I clicked on markslinks.com, markslinks was no more! Wasn't a big LL?

What happened?

Yeah talk about it. from the 250 LL listed in my 2001 list, only about 50 ar still Link List. The others have either turn into a TGP or the domain where bought vultures and are used as a PPC SE!:)

shame cause they had a good site there and sent decent traffic when i used to submit a few yrs back

this is exactly why i will not use ANY registrar except DirectNIC.

Knowing I can call MikeAI if anything goes wrong helps me sleep better.

Fuck thes regs who pull shady shit like this.

I dont care about saving 5 bucks on domain names, i prefer to know i will NEVER have some shit like this happen to me.

Domains are secured, located in my hometown.

I heard the same thing Sly_RJ said, and hes trying like hell to get it back. Some story about it getting sold when he was current on everything..

Marks Links is still there but at the hypenated domain name posted above.

Dare got screwed by Totalnic, a registrar well known to be trouble.
