The Amish
Ohio has lots of amish communities in its rural areas, and today me and my girl decided to go on a drive to check out their food and craft works.
Pretty amazing shit, we spent like $300 on food alone, we were so much into it. They might be weird, but are also soooo nice and welcoming, it was quite the experience. If you ever get the chance to get into their area, check out the stuff they make, their pies are delicious! :thumbsup |
cool. ill have to check that out if im ever in that area. not to many amish here in central california.

Try taking a pic...they'll take off running faster than you can imagine. :winkwink:
Nah..I grew up near a lot of Amish in southern Indiana. Lots of amish foods and restaraunts...good stuff. Of course, there's also Amish parties. Subs and CD players in black buggies, parked in a big barn...blaring AC/DC. With tons of buggies parked in a field and cars stagger parked down a gravel road for about as far as you can see. Interesting yet silly culture..but they know how to have fun when they're young, before they accept the amish culture when they turn 18. |
They are great people
