No the gavernment isn't missing anything... the only reason it's worth so much is because it is illegal... the risk it takes to run a large grow op causes the inflated price dummy ... if the government got involved weed would end up costing less than cigarettes and alot of people wouldn't be making as much money as they are now ... and I think they would be pretty angry:2 cents:

yes, the risk are big... but so many people want it that the gov't could ciollect big taxes.

400/ounce? damn, that better be some primo shit. normal price around here is 240 for the good stuff, and thats in canadian dollars.

Weed makes me feel good. Gold doesn't.

it will always be illegal. the gov cant regulate it as they do with everything else. you cant grow tobacco in your closet nor can you make alcohol (legally).

perhaps the gov. should invest in pot instead in gold...but I think gold is durable than pot...

Although you could grow your tobacco outside, closets would make no sense.

yeah.. down south people grow their own tobacco all over the place & my stepdad used to brew his own beer... it smelled up the house terribly, it's just illegal to serve beer w/o the proper license
